Contract Fabrics

Fabric is at the heart of great design, thats why we have a dedicated team devoted to getting it right. We work with expert British and global suppliers in the contract fabric sector, selecting fabrics that are not only luxurious and elegant, but practical, durable and with relevant Crib 5 compliance- factors essential to the hospitality industry.

Who we are

Whitemeadow is the largest independently-owned upholstery manufacturer in the UK. Situated in the heart of the upholstery manufacturing centre of the UK, Whitemeadow began in 1994, hand-crafting products in our Nottinghamshire factory. Fast-forward to today and we’re proud to maintain our commitment to craftsmanship, but now on a much larger scale. Expansion has allowed us to produce more but has never extinguished our commitment to hand-crafting all our products in our own production facilities.

We understand

Through initial market research, design and sampling, right through to colour development and performance testing, we understand the importance of great fabric. A rigorous in-house schedule of testing is strictly adhered to throughout the life of a fabric range, ensuring quality standards never slip, and we carry out our own periodic due diligence testing via a UKAS accredited laboratory. Most importantly, we only buy from suppliers who we know meet the exacting standards you would expect from a Whitemeadow contract product.

Texture and colour are often the difference attributed to the success of projects and with that in mind, we leave no stone unturned. We continually update our knowledge through visits to some of the world's leading expos in interiors and fabrics, ensuring we are always looking ahead to where the market is heading. Our fabric archive also ensures that we have the greatest range of in-house fabrics to choose from and allows us to maintain continuous development.
